Seattle emcee, Macklemore, and his partner-in-crime/producer, Ryan Lewis, are so real. Macklemore’s rhymes are heartfelt, genuine and incredibly charismatic. Dude’s got flow. Their music is dope and they should get all the shine they’re currently enjoying and then some. The Seattle duo brings in fellow Seattlite, Mary Lambert, to add some vocals on this joint.
Same Love is Macklemore’s statement on the topic of gay marriage. Never one to avoid social issues, Macklemore dives in head first and delivers poignant, well thought out raps addressing a serious issue. Well done Macklemore, well done.
